Sourced from the merino sheep, this miracle fibre is a regular overachiever, excelling on so many levels to keep your body in perfect balance. Not only that, merino is completely regenerative, releasing valuable nutrients back into the soil as it gently returns to the earth.

Total Easy Care Merino

Total Easy Care Merino breaks all the rules. This super soft 100% ZQRX™ certified New Zealand merino yarn is brimming with benefits, and will be a go-to that you'll reach for in the wardrobe time and time again.

Why it's good for you:

  • Easy Care — Machine washable for easy care.
  • Long-lasting — Resistant to pilling, it will stay looking great and keep its shape, wear after wear.
  • Temperature regulating — Unlike synthetics, merino wool is an active fibre that reacts to changes in body temperature, so it can cool you down when you're warm, and warm you up when you're cold.
  • Odour resistant — Merino wool absorbs moisture vapour and wicks away sweat and odour molecules to keep you fresh for longer, meaning less washing for you.
  • Comfortable — Natural elasticity helps merino garments stretch and move with your body, making them super comfortable to wear.
  • Protection — Merino has natural UV resistance, which not only protects your skin from the sun, but also means it won't fade, even under harsh light conditions. It is naturally fire retardant and safe around a naked flame or intense heat.
  • Wrinkle-resistant — At a microscopic level, each merino wool fibre is like a coiled spring that returns to its natural shape after being bent. This gives merino wool garments a natural resistance to wrinkles.

Why it's good for the planet:

  • Sustainably sourced — We source our Total Easy Care Merino from ZQRX™ certified, Glenthorne Station, at the foot of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The team at Glenthorne go above and beyond when it comes to social, environmental and animal welfare. They take a regenerative approach to create a better, kinder, more positive future for the planet.
  • No mulesing — Mulesing is a common practice among sheep farmers to prevent fly strike. It is a surgical procedure performed without anaesthetic that involves the removal of skin from the crutch area. As animal welfare is extremely important to us, we only use non-mulesed merino sheep.
  • Easy on the earth — When merino is disposed of, it will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of years, slowly releasing valuable nutrients back into the earth, and as sheep produce a new fleece every year, i's a completely renewable fibre.
