Every year roughly 8 Billion pairs of jeans are produced worldwide, resulting in astronomical levels of waste. By using leftover fabric from past collections in projects like our new Recycled Denim Tote Bags, we're able to divert some of our waste from landfill and put it back into circulation.

Designing for circularity in this way makes the most of our natural resources, and keeps the man-made resources that already exist in the loop for more than one lifecycle. We currently divert 99% of our textile waste from landfill. Innovations like these will help us reach our goal of 100%.

Animal Welfare

Untouched World is 100% committed to sourcing our fibre from producers that are doing the very best they can for their animals’ welfare.

We have partnered with Veterinarians for Animal Welfare Aotearoa (VAWA) to support our animal welfare policy work, to educate, and evolve our standards. VAWA is a collective of animal welfare advocates, led by veterinarians. Their purpose is to create better lives for animals using knowledge and expertise in veterinary and animal welfare science.

We believe that our job, as partners and consumers, is to set the bar for the rest of the market and to rise above minimum legal requirements.
